It's hard to believe i've already been back in law school for 3 weeks.
I'm happy to say that 2L is SOOO much better than 1L. Much less stress, much more relaxed. It just feels like grad school now. It's nice.
I know I've been neglectful towards Otium yet again. I really want to get back into the habit of posting a couple times a week. Unfortunately, i've completely stopped reading the news over the last few weeks, so I'm kind of low on information and creative ideas right now. Sometimes, you just need a break from the day-to-day monotony of the 24-hr news cycle. I should get back into it in time for the mid-term elections.
I had a chance to hang out with Joe Lieberman yesterday but I had to go back to Atlanta for an interview (more on that in the coming weeks). That would've been pretty cool and would've given me an opportunity to actually write an original post that doesn't just parrot my favorite columnists. Oh well.
There is no doubt that this is the best time of the year. Football is back, Sam Adams Octoberfest has returned (it's good this year), and fall has just begun. The DC humidity is finally subsiding. Unfortunately, my fantasy football team is really really bad. This is kind of a first for me. I'm going to have to tolerate a number of humbling losses to my friends and family before the season ends.
I'll try to stay up to date as best as possible...

that's a pretty boring entry, zak. this is a depressing time in america. the good guys are falling because of a child molester, and the traitors who will continue to play politics and do anything to destroy the morale behind the iraq war effort will win. god help us. id rather a bunch of corrupt fatcats, than a pool of traitors.
