Dear Readers,
I'm posting today to wish you all a merry christmas and happy new years and holiday season. As some of you may know, my religion (Eastern Orthodox) technically celebrates Christmas on January 7th, but my family still treats December 25 as Christmas for all intensive purposes. Personally, I'm not in favor of the old calendar's placement of Christmas on Jan. 7th, but that's for another post.
I somehow finished up my fall semester of 2L at GW Law after slacking with minimal effort throughout. My goal is to take things a little bit more seriously going forward. It's just hard to get excited about school after 20 straight years in the classroom.
I'm in Atlanta for the week, and then I'll be heading up to New York City for New Year's Eve. I'm hoping that this year's NYE in NYC will be more successfull than last year's. My friends and I have reservations at a new bar, and perhaps they will remember the champagne, unlike the bar we were at last year.
I'm not sure what i'm doing after new years, but i'll probably be around DC, either applying for jobs or finishing up a paper that's still due from last semester. I'll keep you updated...
